"In Terram: A Love Letter to Gaza" is a 16mm experimental documentary that captures pro-Palestinian protests in the fall of 2023 and contributes to the global call for a free and safe Palestine. Adhesive-coated 16mm film laid on marching routes show the footsteps of protestors through direct animation. The film also includes footage of the rallies and the watermelon - a symbol of Palestinian resistance. Red and white threads symbolize the Gaza-Isreal Iron Wall, the violence of occupation and genocide, and the unity of global resistance. Over these images plays a field recording of the National March on Washington: Free Palestine demonstration.
